TrueClot Blood
TrueClot® Blood Simulant is a highly realistic simulated blood with active coagulation, designed to train healthcare providers in traumatic hemorrhage control, wound packing, and the use of advanced hemostatic dressings.
- TrueClot Blood Simulant forms realistic blood clots when used with TrueClot simulated hemostatic dressings in any mannequin-based wound simulator or task trainer.
- Simulated clots can be created for surgical or moulage training using TrueClot Blood Simulant along with the TrueClot coagulation solution.
- TrueClot Blood Simulant is available in a pre-mixed liquid form or as a convenient concentrate, which is easier to ship and store but requires mixing with water.
- TrueClot Blood Simulant and Blood Simulant Concentrate are safe, non-hazardous, and can be washed off skin and clothing with water and soap. They can be disposed of in regular trash.
- The simulated blood will not coagulate unless it comes into contact with our simulated hemostatic gauze or coagulation solution and is stable for up to 2 years when stored at room temperature.
