This training simulator is designed for controlling lower extremity hemorrhages, specifically for the thigh area, with realistic wound and bleeding simulations. It enhances pre-hospital care training with hands-on exercises on hemorrhage control, including wound packing and tourniquet application. This simulator is particularly suitable for Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and civilian “Stop The Bleed” training.
Key Features:
- Instructor-controlled bleeding: Each wound’s bleeding is managed by a manual blood-pumping system that simulates pulsatile arterial or venous bleeding.
- Tourniquet application stops the bleeding, providing more realism in hemorrhage control. If the correct pressure is not applied, the bleeding will continue.
