The Abdominal Aortic and Junctional Tourniquet (AAJT-S) is the latest life-saving innovation for hemorrhage control when a standard tourniquet cannot be applied.
DESCRIPTION:
This device is designed to stop bleeding by compression, specifically for pelvic and inguinal hemorrhages or lower extremity bleeding caused by IEDs, blast injuries, or high-level amputations when standard tourniquets are ineffective or cannot be applied.
INDICATIONS:
- Can be applied at junctional sites (inguinal, axillary) or mid-abdomen.
- The AAJT-S compresses the abdominal aorta when applied to the mid-abdomen, controlling bleeding in the pelvis, groin, and lower extremities.

The new design provides 3 channels that prevent air flow into the chest cavity during inspiration while allowing air to escape through the ventilation channels during exhalation.
